Lesson 26 Sentence Order
In your packet that went home, find Lesson 26. Cut out the words, and glue the sentence in the correct order. Write it neatly making sure to begin with a capital letter. Use some of your words in a sentence and illustrate the sentence. Does your illustration match what you wrote about?
Sight Words
Please practice your sight words at Spelling City: https://www.spellingcity.com
Our sight words for the week are: do, went, little, down, only, just. . Please use your flash cards to help you practice at home in addition to your practice on Spelling City. Another fun activity is to play Word-o! Write your words on a bingo sheet and play with someone at home. The sight words are written on scrap pieces of paper and drawn out of a bag. The pictures below are an example from another lesson. The whale is the free space.

Math
Math Activity Lesson 16, pages 249 and 250.
Today the students are comparing the numbers in two groups and crossing out ( taking away) objects to make the groups equal. By crossing objects out, they can see how many more the group with the greater number has. For greater write G, for lesser write L.
The students love Puzzled Penguin. Puzzled Penguin is used to show typical errors that children might make. The students enjoy teaching Puzzled Penguin the correct way, and explaining why the error is wrong. Discuss with your child if Puzzled Penguin's work is correct and how they can help. Puzzled Penguin counted groups of objects and compared the numbers as we have done.
