Lesson 28 Sentence Order
In the packet that went home, find Lesson 28. Cut out the words, and glue the sentence in the correct order. It is a pretty long sentence this week! Write it neatly making sure to begin with a capital letter. Use some of your words in a sentence and illustrate the sentence. Does your illustration match what you wrote about?

Comparing Length and Comparing Height
The focus today is comparing two objects and identifying which is taller or shorter and comparing two objects and identifying which is longer or shorter.
This is just a brief introduction to measurement, a skill that the students will learn in first grade.
As an example compare the length of their hand to the length of their foot. Guide your child to align the base of their palm to their heel to see which is longer and shorter and talk about it.
